Community Living Director


 

The Community Living Director is an essential member of the leadership team and will be responsible for ensuring overall coordination of services within the Community Living department including 24-hour support in group residences, supported independent living arrangements, in-home community support, personal choice programs, wellness and client benefits.  

The Community Living Director will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.  The Community Living Director will need to have the ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees, prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate, maintain confidentiality,  demonstrate a dedicated work ethic and a positive attitude.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Services or other related field preferred

  • Minimum of one year experience in leadership

  • Background report and driving record required

  • TB test required

  • Complete requirements to have First Aid/CPR/AED certification
