2016 Job & Career Fair

The Dearborn County Chamber of Commerce, with the help of US Bank and space provided by Hollywood Casino, will be hosting a Job and Career Fair on Thursday, April 28^th from 10am to 2pm. Currently, the county has one coordinated job fair a year, in the fall, put on by Congressman Messer’s office and WorkONE. While it’s a great event that has produced excellent results and grown annually, the Chamber has received feedback from local employers that the county needs more. As such, the Chamber will be hosting a job fair at the Lawrenceburg Event Center on April 28^th. We will be opening with a networking breakfast at 8:30 featuring a guest speaker (Dr. Uric Dufrene) who will be focusing on the regional economic outlook for the coming year. From 10-2 the career and job fair itself will be open to the public.
 
8:30 – Networking breakfast (free for Chamber members and booth participants)
9:00 – Speaker Dr. Uric Dufrene
10:00 – Job Fair begins
2:00 – Job Fair ends
 
This event is free to attend and open to the public. Interview rooms will be made available to employers who request them so look sharp and bring your resumes! We encourage all job seekers and those looking to shift careers to come and introduce yourselves. All ages, experience levels and industry backgrounds are welcome.
 
If you are an employer looking to add talent and would like to participate, the cost is $100 and includes a booth at the job fair as well as a complimentary ticket to the networking breakfast.
